Photos from Day One

Wednesday, June 24th, 2015

When our plane arrived in Dublin, we took some time to sight see before heading to the train to Tandragee. This is a statue memorial inside the city to commemorate the The Great Famine, aka Irish Potato Famine.

The faces of the forlorn migrants.

Roaming the streets, we found an Irish Hostel. Which have communal rooms for travelers.

Our first breakfast joint in Dublin. Rasher Behans. This cafe was adorable! The restaurants rarely have napkins at the table, the water is served in large glass bottles, and everything is done to conserve resources. Very green country.. In more ways than one.

And so you know, the architecture is amazing.

End of day one photos.
